Stoney Hill Farm is a second generation livestock farm that was started in 1956 by Peter and Emily Kostiuk. In 1996, when Angela and Dale were married, they took over the management and day to day operations. Purebred Angus cattle became the central interest of the farm in 2004. Angus were chosen for their docile nature and reputable meat quality.
Dale and Angela intend to offer their children the option of earning a living in agriculture. “We believe a prosperous beef farm is only possible by making available to our local communities a healthy, fresh product. It is the responsibility of the producer to grow a product with the same care that consumers use in selecting food for themselves and their loved ones. Our future lies in our ability to forge lasting relationships with customers based on trust and reliability. Excellence in environmental stewardship and slow grown meat are values that consumers have come to insist upon. We invite your family to discover the experience of family farm Angus beef.
Our Favourite Recipe: This recipe for "Roladen" is one that has been passed down through the family for several generations. It originates in Northern Germany. There are several other versions coming from southern Germany and the east that might be stuffed the olives with ground pork, green peppers etc.
